It was in 1960′s, at the of age 12 yrs, a small boy had to fight pain when a small nail suddenly pierced into his foot. At that time, Indian villages do not know about T.T injection and the precautions to be taken care of.
His mother without hesitation took a Brinjal / Egg Plant, Solanum melongena, kept it on hot Coal. Later tied that burnt Brinjal with a cloth at the place of wound.
That boy, now at the age of 62 years old, is now happy to share this to the world. Many Indians were dependent on herbal and household things and made these things part of every day life. It was an age old practice. Of course, even today there are many families still following many tips, if not all, to make them fit.
